New Year Equals New Jobs Thanks to TXU Energy
New call centers to open Abilene and Lubbock

A new year means new job opportunities for folks in the northwestern and west central parts of Texas.
Dallas-based TXU Energy is opening new customer call centers in Abilene and Lubbock.
In conjunction with the added jobs at the company’s existing call center in Irving, the move will create approximately 500 jobs.
The additional call centers will allow the company to better respond to its more than 2 million customers, according to David Hennekes, TXU's vice president for residential markets.
