Authorities say a 27-year-old man sought in Southeast Texas for three counts of endangering or abandoning a child is wanted for questioning about the death of one of the children he was babysitting.
Tashiay Nelson says she left boyfriend Antoine Allen Gorman with her three young children at her apartment in Freeport, south of Houston, while she went to work Tuesday.
When she returned, the children were alone and one of them, 7-week-old Malachi, was unresponsive. The baby was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Nelson says Gorman had texted her saying he went to a store but she hasn't heard from him since then.
Police say additional charges are likely after an autopsy on the infant. Each of the outstanding warrants already carries a $250,000 bond.
