Grand Prairie detectives trying to identify a man who is sneaking into people's backyards in the middle of the night now have surveillance video of him in action.

It's happened at least three times in recent weeks in the Coronado Woods subdivision near South Carrier Parkway and Crosslands Boulevard.

A homeowner's surveillance camera caught the prowler lurking around their backyard last week.

A homeowner's surveillance camera caught the prowler lurking around their backyard in the Coronado Woods subdivision near South Carrier Parkway and Crosslands Boulevard in Grand Prairie.

"Being that it's a repetitive incident, and normal people don't go walking around people's backyards in that time frame, we certainly would like to identify him and have a conversation with him as to why he's doing this," Detective Lyle Gensler said.

Police have no reports of the man actually breaking into any homes.

The man is described as white, thin and between 18 and 21 years old. He wears glasses and has a thin mustache and chin hair.

Anyone who might be able to identify the man is asked to call Grand Prairie police at 972-237-8877.
