Landing Gear Collapses Upon Landing

The FAA has been notified of the landing gear failure and will investigate.

The front landing gear of a private lane collapsed upon landing at Denton Municipal Airport Friday morning.

According to officials, the gear on the Piper PA-34 collapsed as the plane touched down.  

Neither the pilot or the passenger were injured.

The FAA has been notified of the failure and will investigate.
