Houston police have charged a man with sexually assaulting a 91-year-old woman at an assisted living center.
Authorities said an anonymous tip identified 29-year-old Conrad Hargest by name in the Oct. 1 attack. He is charged with aggravated sexual assault of an elderly or disabled person.
The victim told police the suspect came into her room at the Creekbend Gardens center early in the morning.
Police said security tape from the center showed a man checking for unlocked doors on all three floors of the building. Hargest told police he was in the security video but didn't go into the woman's home or assault her.
Hargest was released from the Harris County Jail after posting bond. It was not immediately clear if he has an attorney.
