Authorities said someone stole a hearse in Bryan and dumped the body on the side of a road Friday morning.
Brazos County Sheriff's officials said a truck driver found the body near Dick Elliot Road at about 7:30 a.m., according to the Bryan Eagle.
Later Friday afternoon, the Sheriff's Office tweeted that it had "recovered the stolen vehicle from earlier this morning." The tweet said two people were in custody, but did not reveal any more details.
Authorities said the hearse was stolen from Daniel and Sons Funeral Home.
