What started as a simple wish from an 8-year-old girl battling cancer has grown into a massive pile of toys.
Sadie Keller — who is battling leukemia — is worried Santa Claus may forget to visit her fellow cancer patients at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, so she posted a video online to ask for toy donations.
A few weeks later, Sadie has collected more than 1,000 toys for kids who cannot leave the hospital on Christmas. She posted a message on her YouTube page thanking everyone for their support.
"I’m really excited to deliver them to the hospital," she said. "Thank you guys for all the prayers. I still have some more toys coming."
Sadie’s family will deliver the toys to the hospital Thursday.
