Neighbors at the Metropolitan high rise condo are upset about what they claim is an ultimatum by planners of the new Belo garden park.
Opponents of a planned wall in the Downtown Dallas Belo Garden Park left a city Plan Commission meeting disappointed on Thursday.
The Commission approved current plans for the park at Griffin and Commerce which include the wall.
The wall would back up to the neighboring Metropolitan Condo building where many residents believe it make an ugly dark alley out of their entrance driveway.
Opponents say they will continue seeking a compromise with park backers but, as it stands now, the park goes to construction with the wall.
