A garage fire in Fort Worth lit up the night sky in the 4000 block of Merida.
The garage at 4500 Merida caught fire around 3:15 a.m. and was detached from the home.
One firefighter was injured, but it was unrelated to the fire, fire crews said. Those injuries were minor. No one else was injured.
The fire consumed the garage, but did not spread to a nearby vacant home.
There was no immediate word on how the fire started.
Some nearby power lines caused firefighters some concern, but the blaze was knocked down fairly quickly fire crews said.
