The former vice president of UNT's Health Science Center has been arrested, police say.
Fort Worth police arrested Stephen Don Barrett, 41, for indecency with a child on Wednesday.
He was booked into the Tarrant County Jail, where he was later released on a $10,000 bonded.
UNTHCS released the following statement regarding the incident:
"Stephen Barrett is no longer an employee at UNT Health Science Center. He was terminated Wednesday afternoon."
Further details have not yet been released.
The incident does not involve UNTHSC in any way other than it is Barrett's former employer, officials said.
