Residents not at home when fire breaks out

Fire Destroys Aledo Home

A large 2,500 square-foot home was destroyed by a 3-alarm fire in Aledo Thursday.

The fire was first reported after 11 a.m. along the 200-block of Terrace Court.

Officials said the home was a total loss.

The owners of the property were not at the house at the time of the fire.

Tarrant County Emergency Services was called in to assist with water tanks since there were no hydrants at hte property.

Officials said the Aledo Fire Department was assisted by the departments in Hudson Oaks, Cresson, Willow Park, Weatherford, Silver Creek, Springtown, River Oaks and Benbrook.
