Fight at Pool Hall Spills Outside, Turns Fatal

Homicide is the 6th in Arlington this year

One person is dead and two more are injured when a fight turned into a shooting outside an Arlington pool hall early Sunday morning.

According to police, a fight inside the pool hall on the 2700-block of Majesty Drive spilled outside.  At some point during the altercation, witnesses told police a man reached out of the passenger window of a red pickup truck and shot three people, one of which was hit several times.

The man hit multiple times was identified as 22-year-old Zadric Walker.  He was transported to Dallas Methodist Hospital where he later died.

The other two people shot in the incident were also hospitalized, though their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Homicide investigators are actively working the case.  Anyone with information about the owner of the red truck or the man who is suspected of shooting from the truck is asked to call Arlington Police Detective Byron Stewart at 817-459-5691 or call Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS to submit an anonymous tip.

This is the 6th homicide in Arlington this year.
