Dallas Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the southeast part of the city overnight. [[380933431,C]]
Officials said a woman called 911 and told dispatchers she'd found 57-year-old Clarence Edward Davis inside the house in the 300 block of Palm Oak Drive at about midnight Thursday. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said Davis appeared to have been shot multiple times after opening his front door.
Witnesses told police they saw a man drive away from the scene shortly after.
The case remains under investigation.
