As Blue Bell prepares to undergo a massive cleanup, many Texans continue to show their support for the troubled creamery.

That support includes a special community prayer vigil in downtown Brenham's courthouse square.

Hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and local faith missions, the vigil is set to bring together the community that holds the creamery at heart on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

The company invited supporters to dawn their best Blue Bell shirts and caps in "Support Blue Bell Day" on Friday. The flow of messages came the weekend before the Blue Bell factory in Brenham undergoes a major cleaning operation.

The company recalled all of its products Monday after two samples of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream tested positive for listeria in March.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Tuesday the number of listeria illnesses nationwide linked to Blue Bell products has risen to 10.
