The Dallas Police Department will conduct a No-Refusal DWI Initiative during the Independence Day weekend.
The initiative will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday and will end at 6 a.m. Monday.
During this initiative, officers will secure a search warrant for a blood sample from all drivers who are arrested for driving while intoxicated and refuse to give a voluntary breath and/or blood sample.
