American Airlines celebrated the official opening of its new operations center Tuesday.
The new facility is all part of the merger between American Airlines and US Airways.
The center is in Fort Worth and it will be the central location for various functions.
More than 1,600 people will work at the center.
It created about 100 new jobs and more than 300 employees relocated to work at the center.
American Airlines officials said the center is a lead into the future for the company.
