Three children and one adult escaped a house fire Sunday morning on the 8700 block of Lake June Road.
Firefighters said that the kids were in the house and the father helped everyone get out safely.
The fire started in the garage at about 4:30 a.m. and traveled into the laundry room. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames in about 20 minutes.
The fire department believes that the fire started because of an electrical short in the dryers.
The home did not have smoke detectors. The home also had burglar bars that were not city sanctioned.
No one was injured in the fire.
