Two men were found dead in the 100 block of Northeast Loop 820 after a car accident around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Fort Worth police say.
Police found the first man near the truck involved in the crash, and they found the second man nearby in the westbound lanes of Loop 820. Police believe the man was either a passenger in the truck or a pedestrian involved in the crash.
Police said that the man in the Ford 250 pickup truck was driving north on Main Street and entered the ramp of Loop 820. He then hit the steel barricade bordering the loop, went across the eastbound lanes of 820, hit the concrete barrier, and went over the bridge above the BNSF railroad tracks.
Both westbound and eastbound lanes of Loop 820 were closed for several hours Saturday morning, but they are now open.
No other information has been released at this time.
