Dallas police say two men are in custody after an alleged armed robbery Friday at a title loan business that ended with an off-duty Dallas officer firing his weapon at one of the suspects.
Fernando Garcia, 22, and Jorge Enriquez, 22, are charged with aggravated robbery.
Police said Garcia entered the store in the 3300 block of Irving Boulevard at about 5:40 p.m. with a handgun.
Southeast patrol officer Leonard Anderson, working off-duty at the business in full uniform, drew his weapon and fired at Garcia "multiple times," police said.
Garcia then got into an awaiting vehicle with Enriquez, and the two drove away, police said.
They were later stopped in a nearby neighborhood and arrested.
One of the men was treated and released by Dallas Fire-Rescue medics for an unspecified injury, although police indicated neither Garcia nor Enriquez was shot.

Garcia remains jailed on a $100,000 bond, while Enriquez is held on a $25,000 bond.
