An 18-wheeler was left dangling from a bridge off East Loop 820 and Trinity Boulevard, Fort Worth police said Wednesday night.
Police said the 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on East Loop 820 before it struck a guard rail. The big rig came to rest over the edge of the rail and was left dangling off a bridge.
There isn’t a roadway under the bridge, but the truck is dangling close to Trinity River.
The truck driver was treated by paramedics at the scene.
A Texas Department of Transportation camera showed traffic backed up for miles as the scene unfolded. The scene was cleared overnight.
No further information was released.
