Lifeguards Wanted

It's not just hard for adults to find jobs these days, teens may face a tougher summer job market as well. But some kids are rushing to get the training they need to become a lifeguard.

With summer right around the corner, a lot of pools and water parks are hiring, though lifeguards are reportedly harder to find due to the hours of training required to become certified.

Baylor's Tom Landry Fitness Center runs a course which helps lifeguards get certified in one weekend.

Lifeguards also need to be certified in CPR and first aid.

In some cases the job pays up to $10 an hour, which is better than a lot of summer jobs that only pay minimum wage.
