Look Out Kanye: Taylor Swift to Host “SNL”

"I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," the country singer said

We're really happy for Taylor Swift, because it looks like she really is going to get to finish.

The 19-year-old country star will host "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 7 and has already hinted that she could be getting the last laugh in the Kanye West debacle.

"I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," Swift told the Associated Press. "There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits."

Swift made headlines last month at the MTV Video Music Awards when West jumped on stage and cut off the singer's acceptance speech for Best Female Video. Days later, West apologized.

Swift, who performed on "SNL" in January, will be hosting for the first time -- an opportunity she called "mind-blowing," according to a statement.

"I love being around people who I feel have a different kind of creative genius. And the funny genius is definitely a fascinating one to be around," she said.
