Yu Will Miss Thursday Start

Yu Darvish will not be able to make his scheduled start on Thursday after experiencing some discomfort in his right quadriceps on Tuesday during a bullpen session.

The rookie Japanese import, who's only 26 years old, has had peaks and valleys this season and has posted a 12-9 record with a 4.51 ERA and 172 strikeouts, but he's also leading the league in free passes.

The Rangers will now send Roy Oswalt to the hill again after he looked great in a spot start on Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays.  Darvish will start the following Tuesday.

But there doesn't seem to be much reason for concern as Ron Washington didn't seem too concerned with the injury and if you follow @YuDarTranslated on Twitter it automatically translates all of Yu's official Twitter, @faridyu, into English, and in a very literal way. The translated account said something to the effect that the injury was not serious.
