It’s been a heck of a start for Cowboys second-year linebacker Sean Lee. On Wednesday, Lee was named NFC Defensive Player of the month.
Lee has led the Cowboys in tackles in two of the first three games of the season, including a key interception on Monday night that set up a 27-yard field goal. It was his second INT of the year.
Lee also recovered the Rex Grossman fumble that sealed the victory.
Lee is the first Cowboys player to be named NFC Defensive Player of the Month since the award started in 1984.
