"Cowboys' Alley" is the proposed name for part of the future home of the Dallas Cowboys headquarters in Frisco.
The project is a the multiuse facility that will include the Cowboys' headquarters and practice facilities but also shopping, restaurants and other businesses.
A glimpse of the project, through detailed animated renderings, was revealed to the Frisco City Council on Tuesday by the designers, O'Brien Architects.
No decisions have been made on the streetscapes, retailers that will move into the space or even the name.
Frisco city taxpayers are pitching in more than a $100 million toward the entire project, which will include a multiuse sports complex that local schools can use for their own sporting events and programs.
Frisco Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Cheney expects the project to break ground this summer and to be completed in two years.
