On Deck will be here all season to provide you with everything you need to know (and a few things you don't) about every Cowboys game during the 2015 season.
The Opponent: The Dolphins rallied from a big first-quarter deficit to topple the Eagles last week, improving to 4-5 on the season, with three of those wins coming under interim head coach, and former Cowboys tight end, Dan Campbell.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys are 6-7 in 13 all-time meetings against the Dolphins, with one of those coming in the postseason in Super Bowl VI, a 24-3 Cowboys win in New Orleans. The Cowboys won the last meeting in 2011, beating Miami 20-19.
Who's Hot: Not much to say here for the Cowboys with the best thing going right now being the fact that Tony Romo is set to return from an eight-week layoff after suffering a broken clavicle in a Week 2 win over the Eagles. Since then, the Cowboys haven't won a game. Romo will help, but will it be enough?
Ryan Tannehill threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins' comeback win on Sunday without throwing a pick. After giving up 16 points in the first quarter, including a safety in the unbelievable third straight game, the Dolphins defense put the clamps down and allowed just a field goal the rest of the way.
Who's Not: Pretty much everything for the Cowboys falls in this category. Dez Bryant is coming off a bad game, Darren McFadden is coming off a bad game, Greg Hardy has been awful, and even Dan Bailey missed a field goal.
Since Dan Campbell took over as interim coach, the Dolphins have been running the football more effectively, but last week it didn't go so well. They ran for just 99 yards in the game and only had 289 total yards. But, a win's a win, and the Cowboys would love one some day.
