Mo Claiborne Dealing with Another Hamstring Issue

Claiborne missed two games last month with a hamstring injury

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne is dealing with a hamstring issue once again, which could put his status against the Jets in question.

Claiborne, who has had probably his best season as a pro this year, missed two games in November as the result of a nagging hamstring injury. But the team doesn’t seem to believe this issue is as serious as that one.

We’ll take it day by day, but we don’t think it’s a severe injury,” Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett told the team's official website. “So we’ll see how he does here the next couple of days.”

Since coming to Dallas as the No. 6 overall pick in 2012, Claiborne has 114 tackles, three interceptions and 19 passes defensed. On the season, he has 37 tackles and seven passes defensed, but is still looking for his first interception.
