With the playoffs officially out of the picture for Dallas, there are less than three weeks left in the 2010 season. All the same, owner and general manager Jerry Jones, who has been quite vocal in his desire to end the season on the highest note possible, continues to hang on to hope that starting quarterback Tony Romo will return.

We really keep monitoring that very carefully,” Jones said Thursday in his appearance on 105.3 The Fan, per the Dallas Morning News. “Our doctors are continuing to take looks at the X-rays. Of course, the real thing is we're monitoring where he feels. He certainly is not ready to go today. We'll just see how it looks this coming week.”

Romo, of course, suffered a fractured clavicle in the team’s loss to the New York Giants on October 25 and, of course, has been out ever since. The downtime hasn’t been all bad for Romo, however; on Thursday, he got engaged to his ultra-hot, former Miss Missouri girlfriend Candice Crawford.
