DeMarcus Ware Named To The Sporting News' All-Pro Team

Ware was the only member of the Dallas Cowboys to make the cut

The Sporting News released their All-Pro teams this week, and not all that surprisingly, the Dallas Cowboys weren’t exactly well represented. Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware, one of just two Cowboys named to the Pro Bowl along with Jay Ratliff, was the only member of the team to make the cut.

The rankings, which intend to name the best players in the league at their given positions, are determined by a vote of 30 NFL executives.

So Ware might be the only Cowboy on the team, but he’s not the only familiar name for Cowboys fans.

Wade Phillips was named to the team as the league’s best coordinator, for his work in Houston this year. In his first season as the Texans’ defensive coordinator, the former head coach of the Dallas Cowboys turned the Houston defense into the second best defense in the NFL.
