Veteran cornerback Antonio Cromartie is about to be a free agent. And he thinks he might be a nice fit in Dallas.

Cromartie was on ESPN’s “First Take” this morning, and said he thinks he could help the Cowboys quite a bit (and we’re not inclined to disagree) in a place they need it: The secondary.

"They're only missing one key piece and that's the piece in the secondary, and I feel like I can be that piece to help and go and win a championship and get the Dallas Cowboys back where they're supposed to be," Cromartie said, via CBS Sports.

Cromartie was selected 19th overall in 2006 by the San Diego Chargers, and has also played for the New York Jets and, last season, the Arizona Cardinals. He’s a four-time Pro Bowler (he made it last year) and was the NFL’s interceptions leader in 2007.
