Fort Worth Country Day Pumpkin Patch Mesmorizes Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and Central Market General Manager Austin Jourde visited the Fort Worth Country Day Pumpkin Patch today (October 7) to see all the exquisite pumpkins that will be on sale in the Lower School Courtyard on October 9 and 10. Co-chairs Erin Glover and Shannon Kelly Wallace ’97 presented specially themed pumpkins to both esteemed guests and posed for a few photos. Central Market has donated pumpkins to this cause for nearly 10 years. This year, Pumpkin Patch volunteers painted more than 600 pumpkins for the sale, and 23 faux pumpkins will be auctioned. The cheerfully decorated pumpkins range from LOL dolls, cute farm animals, spooky Halloween and autumn themes, cupcakes, Fortnite, Day of the Dead, hearts, the Teal Pumpkin Project, sports and collegiate themes, Angry Birds, Star Wars and more. Funds raised through the Parent Faculty Association Pumpkin Patch Sale benefit the faculty, students and FWCD community. The Pumpkin Patch Committee outdid themselves this year!
