Animal Control officers in Sacramento, California are investigating six cases of mutilated animals, including a cow, that were found at three city parks.
On Tuesday, a woman was walking some children to school near Reichmuth Park when they found a brown paper bag.
Inside was a dead lamb with the head still in the bag, Animal Control officers said.
Since that incident, Animal Control officers became aware of three other cases of dead animals, some decapitated.
