Rangers to Show Fans Appreciation

So the Texas Rangers’ magic number sits at three now, right?

They play today, well, now in Oakland, tomorrow and Saturday and home versus the Mariners, and wrap up the three-game home stand against Seattle on Sunday. By then, your Texas Rangers might just be West Division champs.

What better way to celebrate another divisional title than by saying thanks to the fans who pay to watch the team? Nothing, that’s what.

So the organization plans Fan Appreciation Day for Sunday’s afternoon game. A win would be nice, the fireworks and music all ooo and ahhh worthy.

Oh, and it wouldn’t be much of a Fan Appreciation Day without free T-shirts for the crowd.

Speaking of appreciation, team officials would very much like it if 125,919 of you guys would buy tickets to the games during the three-day home stand. That way, the Rangers would break the all-time season attendance record of 2,945,244 set in 1997.

Plus, the extra money from ticket sales would help gas up the plane for the playoffs.
