On Deck will be here all season to provide you with everything you need to know (and a few things you don't) about every Cowboys game during the 2014 season.
The Opponent: The Bucs are 3-5, and they aren't good. But they seem to be figuring things out behind their rookie quarterback Jameis Winston, who is now riding a pretty nice streak of games without an interception.
Past Meetings: The Cowboys have dominated the all-time series, consisting of 16 games, as they've gone 13-3, including wins in each of the two postseason meetings back in the early 1980s.

Who's Hot: Darren McFadden has taken the starting running back gig and literally run away with it. He turned in his third straight really good game on Sunday night, rushing for 117 yards and averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Cole Beasley broke a month-long catchless streak with a nine-catch, 112-yard, two-touchdown performance, and Dez Bryant had 104 yards and a touchdown. Matt Cassel was good, minus a crucial pick-six, as he threw for 299 yards and three scores.
As mentioned above, Winston hasn't been throwing interceptions, which plagued him early this year and even in college, and that's a huge plus for the Bucs. He didn't throw a touchdown last week, but he led the Bucs into the red zone several times only to see them settle for field goals while throwing for 249 yards. He did rush for a score on a highlight-reel dive into the end zone from 12 yards out. Mike Evans caught eight balls for 152 yards.
Who's Not: The Cowboys' defense that needed so badly to pick up some slack with Tony Romo out, has failed miserably. They don't force turnovers and last week they couldn't even get to the quarterback. The Cowboys should win games right now where when they get 27 points from their offense, but their defense blew that one.
Running back Doug Martin had 11 carries for the Bucs against a Giants run defense that isn't incredibly special, and on those 11 carries he managed just 31 yards.
