Brahmas fall to Jackalopes 3-1 in Game One of conference finals

The Texas Brahmas hockey team fell to the Odessa Jackalopes 3-1 in game one of the Southern Conference finals of the Central Hockey League.

Odessa scored first, six minutes into the game, and never looked back. The Jackalopes built a two goal lead in the second period when Brahmas forward Brandon Benedict cut the Odessa lead to one.

Odessa proved too much, as the Jackalopes out shot the Brahmas 30-36 to take a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series.

The Brahmas' loss was their first loss of the post season.
