The Donald will not moderate the Iowa debate that has been derided and dodged by every GOP candidate except Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. "Unless I conclusively agree not to run as an Independent, they will not agree to attend or be a part of the Newsmax debate," Donald Trump said in a statement Tuesday. "I am not willing to give up my right to run as an Independent." This announcement comes just 11 days after the real estate mogul said he would host the debate and boasted that it would bring in top television ratings. It's not clear if an alternative moderator would step in as Trump bows out.
