Two people were hospitalized Thursday after a shooting at the Deluxe Inn motel in Mesquite, police say.
Mesquite police are investigating the shooting and have released few details other than that a person of interest left the motel quickly and that officers arrived at the motel responding to a robbery call.
The condition of the victims, who were transported to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, is not yet known.
The motel is located at 3817 Highway 80.
