The search is still on for the 14-year-old police say gunned down three other teenagers at a gas station food shop in Garland. The boy’s father was arrested days ago and charged with murder as the investigation continues.
Families were devastated last week when three teenagers – ages 14,15 and 17 were shot and killed the night of Dec. 26.
While police work to solve the case, the community has stepped up to support the grieving families.
The taqueria where the teens were killed is donating proceeds from sales toward funeral arrangements and other expenses the families might face during their time of grief.

Rodolpho Sanchez, who works at the shop, said when he heard what happened, they wanted to help, especially when he realized he had seen the teens from time to time.
Those killed were 14-year-old Xavier Gonazalez, 16-year-old Ivan Noyala, and 17-year-old Rafael Garcia. A 15-year-old who was a cook at the store was taken to the hospital following the shooting and was expected to survive.
Garland Police named 14-year-old Abel Elias Acosta as the suspected shooter and said he is still on the run.
