With parts of North Texas seeing three to four inches of rain Wednesday, eyes were on the lookout for high water.
Streets in Fort Worth and other areas were reported closed because of flooding. Several streets in Keller were blocked off because of high water.
"This is the worst that it's been," said Keller resident Jenn Gee. "Our backyard, there is a creek coming out of our backyard."
Gee said there was a five-foot-wide stream of water between her house and her neighbor's home.
Police delivered sandbags to Keller's municipal service center for homeowners who might need them.
In Haltom City, firefighters asked some residents to evacuate for a few hours as a precaution. The voluntary evacuations affected about eight to 10 families who live in the low-lying parts of the park.
