N. Texas Steps Closer To Gaining State Law School

North Texas' first ever state-supported law school is closer to becoming reality Wednesday after receiving the state senate's endorsement.

The University of North Texas College of Law is slated to be housed in the historic building where Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvy Oswald in downtown Dallas.

The school is projected to open in the fall of 2011.

The metroplex is currently the nation's only major metropolitan area without a public law school.
