One half of the brother-and-sister duo dubbed "millennium twins" after their birth 13 years ago celebrated his birthday in Dallas.
Jake Wallman's birthday gift was a trip to see Purdue take on Oklahoma State University at the Heart of Dallas Bowl on New Year's Day.
"It's amazing to come and see this game," he said.
America met Jake and his sister, Jordan, 13 years ago. Jake was born at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, 1999, and his sister was born at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2000. Their father, Tim, died when they were just 1 year old.
"The only way to know him is through the grace of television and them being able to look back and get him to know better," said Susan Gajderowicz, their aunt.
Despite having an older brother, Jake has developed a significant bond with Purdue punter Cody Webster.
"We look for [a] positive role model, because we're kind of a family of women and Cody befriended Jake and filled in a role that way," Gajderowicz said.

The Indiana native is now following his role model's footsteps.
"Jake now punts for his seventh-grade team," Gajderowicz said. "Five out of eight weeks, he was player of the week."
Jake's sister, Jordan, celebrated her birthday and the new year at home in Mooresville, Ind.
