NBC 5 Forecast: Warm and humid pattern, more storms later this week

The weather pattern over North Texas will be turning more stormy and unsettled in the coming days. It will be warm and humid each day with periodic storm chances. Storms may occasionally become severe with gusty winds and hail. Some heavy rain in possible, perhaps one to three inches of rain. In between the periods of storms will be several dry hours each day.

The greatest confidence in thunderstorms is late Wednesday night into early Thursday. The rest of Thursday will be mostly cloudy with spotty storm chances. This unsettled pattern will continue through the weekend.

Next week looks drier and hotter with high temperatures ranging from the mid 80s to the lower 90s.
