Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at an apartment complex in DeSoto Wednesday afternoon.
Five units at the Las Casitas Apartments in the 1300 block of North Hampton Road were damaged by the fire.[[290119731,L]]
DeSoto Fire Marshall Bryan Parker told NBC 5 two people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
Parker said the fire was apparently caused by unattended cooking on a stove.
