A fire in the parking garage at Nebraska Furniture Mart in The Colony damaged or destroyed four vehicles owned by employees Tuesday afternoon, police say.[[329999341,R]]
The one-alarm fire was initially reported at about 4:21 p.m. with smoke showing from the parking garage in the 5600 block of Nebraska Furniture Mart Way just off Texas 121.
The Colony police said four vehicles were damaged by the fire, and the public was advised to stay away from the area while crews cleaned up.
One person was hospitalized with smoke inhalation, officials said, and four other people were treated at the scene by medics. None of the injuries were considered serious.

There was no damage to the store itself. The 560,000-square-foot store opened in early 2015 and includes retail space and a large distribution center.
