Denton police officers helped make a heartwarming rescue Thursday along a busy stretch of Interstate 35E.
Officers were called out to save a juvenile deer stranded on the grassy shoulder near the Lindsey Street intersection in southwest Denton.
Police said the deer, now nicknamed "Highway," will be taken to a wildlife rehab facility.
