Construction Worker Airlifted After Electrocution
A construction worker was electrocuted Friday after getting tangled in power lines while working on a new hospital in Flower Mound.  The man was transported by Careflite to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.  His condition is not known. Utility crews are working to restore power to the area, which was knocked out at the time of the accident.

Child Shot in Leg
A 9-year-old girl is in the hospital after being shot. Fort Worth police said someone fired several shots through the front door of her home on Northwest 21st Street just after 11:30 p.m.  One of the bullets struck the girl in the leg, though she is expected to be OK.  Police are searching for the shooter and have revealed no motive.

Wise  Co. Teen Dies After Accidental Shooting
A Wise County teenager was accidentally shot and killed Thursday night, police said.  Three boys were shooting a .22-caliber gun near a pond when one of them was struck in the chest.  The 19-year-old was taken to Wise Regional Hospital where he later died.

Police Say Robbers Targeting, Murdering Latinos
Dallas police said recent murders targeting Latinos may be the work of robbers who think their victims are carrying extra cash.  The latest murder took place Wednesday night at an apartment complex near Maple and Wycliff.  Friends of the victim told police that 43-year-old Jose Luise Aguirre was a hard working man and not a wealthy target. "He didn't do nothing wrong. The thing is, he give the money. Why she still shoot him?" said a friend.  Police are searching for a woman in connection with Aguirre's death.

Mother of Two Still Missing
Police are still searching for a missing mother of two.  Latrese Daniels, 20, has been missing for nearly a week after being last seen at her best friend's apartment on West Wheatland Road in Dallas on Saturday.  Daniels had been dropped off at the apartment following a date, but when her friend woke up that morning, Daniels was gone.  The front door was wide open along and Daniels' purse and shoes were still in the living room.  Investigators believe Daniels may be in danger.  Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Dallas police.

Daycare Worker Accused of Fondling Child
A Grapevine daycare worker is out of jail on bond after being accused of fondling a toddler.  Vincent Woods is facing charges of indeceny with a child.  The Primrose School has suspended Woods. If convicted, Woods could face up to 20 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.

Thieves Steal Boy Scout Trailer, Ruin Camping Trip
Thieves have taken some important gear from a Fort Worth Boy Scout troop.  Troop 330's trailer was parked at Birchman Baptist Church and was holding the boys' camping gear that was to be used in a camping trip scheduled for next weekend.  The troop hopes they can eventually replace the trailer with donations and troop funds.

DPD Hopes YouTube Helps Catch Armed Robber
Dallas police have posted a new video on YouTube.com hoping it will help them catch an armed robber.  On the video, the man can be seen walking into the Chevron on South Lancaster Road just before 9 a.m. Thursday.  The man pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the clerk before fleeing the scene.  Investigators hope someone who sees the video will recognize the robber and call the police.

Theives Caught on Tape Dragging Safe Through Mall
Garland police are searching for three burglars who were caught on surveillance video dragging a stolen safe through the Saigon Mall.  Anyone with information on the trio is asked to call the police. 

Man Shot in Leg North of Bachman Lake
A 20-year-old man was found by Dallas police late Thursday night with a gunshot wound to his leg.  Paramedics transported the man to Parkland Hospital in serious condition.  The victim was hanging out on the 9700 block of Webb Chapel Road, where street racing was taking place, when he became involved in an altercation with a known person.  That person then pulled a gun and shot him before fleeing into the night, police said.  The suspect, whose name has not yet been released, is at large.
