An incident that was originally reported as a crash in Arlington has now shifted to a homicide investigation.
Arlington police said they were called at about 3 p.m. Sunday to the 2100 block of Lincoln Drive for a car that ran into a retaining wall.
Police said they found a man unresponsive inside the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injury. The medical examiner's office has not released the victim's identity.
