North Texans answer the call and adopt all of the angels from the Salvation Army Angel Tree before the deadline.
But now there is another deadline to keep in mind.
You may drop gifts off until 5 p.m. December 16 at two locations:
This year more than 57,000 angels were placed on trees around the Metroplex. The program provides Christmas gifts to needy children in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Ellis counties. Givers can select an angel tag from a tree at an area mall. Each tag provides the name, age, gender, clothing sizes and special needs and wishes of a needy child, senior or disabled adult.
