Roge'r Guignard came off the bench to score 20 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Texas-Arlington to a 94-83 win over Lamar on Wednesday night.
Guignard made 7-of-16 field goals overall and also had four assists for the Mavericks (8-7, 1-1 Southland).
Anthony Vereen also reached double digits for the Mavericks with 19 points, while Brandon Long and Marquez Haynes added 18 and 16 points, respectively.
Tristan Worrell scored a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Cardinals (10-5, 1-1). Brandon McThay led with 20 points, Kenny Dawkins and Jay Brown each scored 18 for Lamar.
Texas-Arlington led 48-42 at the half.
