Monday night, nine Green Room alums converged on the recently re-opened Deep Ellum restaurant to help out former co-worker James Pitzer and his family after they lost their Ferndale, Washington home to a fire. The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception and live music on the rooftop patio and ended with an elaborate "five alarm" dinner crafted by chefs Joel Harloff, Marc Cassel, Susan Fries, Garreth Dickey Colleen O'Hare, Jeana Johnson, Randall Copeland, David Uygur and Katie Brown. After all was said and done, the event raised $4,608 for the family—not too bad for one night's work. [The Feast]
